As an electrical contractor, we are aware of the risks associated with the electrical industry. Because of this, SAFETY ON THE JOBSITE IS OUR NUMBER
ONE PRIORITY. We have a dedicated Safety Director who is responsible for safety training, performing on-site safety inspections, and ensuring safety on
a daily basis. He is responsible for managing and updating our Safety Program in order to minimize accidents on the jobsite. However, we know that safety
must be a group effort; therefore, we also individually hold accountable our Supervisors and Employees:
Safety Accountabilities for all Supervisors:
- • Conduct job-specific, weekly safety meetings with all employees.
- • Discuss safety, quality and production at all meetings.
- • Conduct weekly department inspections, with employee input, and write safety work orders as needed.
- • Interact one-on-one with employees weekly to discuss safe work behaviors and develop their safety knowledge and skills.
- • Conduct accident investigations with root cause determination.
- • Set an example for safe behavior. Show commitment to safety, and wear the proper personal protective equipment.
- • Report on these activities weekly.
- • Conduct observations.
- •Provide regular communication on safety issues with all employees.
